Meet up locally

Arrange the exchange at a safe public spot in Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, or New Salem. Both parties confirm the meeting details through the app. You have leverage until the item is in your hands.

Confirm receipt. Seller gets paid — minus 5%.

Once you confirm the item is as described, CapMarket releases the funds instantly via Stripe. If it's not — tap Dispute and we're on it.

Common questions

What if the buyer never shows up?

Your money stays in escrow. If the buyer doesn't confirm receipt within 72 hours of the meetup window, funds are automatically refunded to your card. No questions, no friction.

What if the item is broken or not as described?

Tap the Dispute button within 24 hours of confirming the meetup. CapMarket reviews the case and can hold, release, or refund funds based on the evidence. You have real leverage — not just a star rating.

When do I get paid as a seller?

The moment the buyer confirms receipt, funds are released instantly to your connected Stripe account. No waiting for checks, no manual transfers.

Can I use a payment method besides Stripe?

Right now, Stripe is the only payment option. We're building more — card, cash at meetup, and other local methods — as the platform grows.

Is my personal info shared with the other party?

Your verified Bismarck profile shows your name, photo, and transaction history. Your phone and email are hidden until you choose to share them through the app's messaging system.
